A huge thanks to all who helped us make 2025 a successful year!  Not only did we roll out our second book of the ZvS trilogy (both printed and audiobook) and turned a successful year for The Bleeding Quill, 2025 saw the publication of the second book of the ZvS trilogy, The Tainted Arrow, the roll-out of both books in e-book and audiobook format, the creation of the ZvS THE GAME and the awarding of the BOOKFEST Award for The Secret War of 1834.

We have started 2026 in a whirlwind of changes and upgrades as we review better methods to provide quality products to our readers, with our goal to increase promotion as we complete the ZOMBIES V STEAMPUNK trilogy saga as we publish the third and final book, The Glass Grenade.

Our goal is this year is also to increase our footprint with more Con appearances, book events and enhanced social media presence.  To that end, we have begun a series of informative, historical and fun Con videos on our tiktok.com/@bbleclere channel.  You can find links to these on our new MEDIA section of THE BLEEDING QUILL.  We will also be posting walkthrough of the various Cons throughout the year, information videos as well as latest social media platforms we are on.  Updated information on upcoming Cons and book events can be found in our EVENTS section.

Saving the BEST for last, we started off 2026 with the news that The Secret War of 1834 was selected as a 2026 Independent Press Award DISTINGUISHED FAVORITE in the Cross Genre category by the Independent Press Award committee.  We are thrilled and very excited to attend the Awards Dinner on April 25th in Newark, NJ, as well as attend the BookCamp.  This award is an excellent opportunity for further promotion, expansion and recognition in additional markets.  More to follow!

With an excellent end for 2025 and strong start to 2026, we look forward to the adventure and challenges ahead!!

About the Authors

Bill spent most of his life reenacting in some fashion. Starting in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), to captaining his own Pirate Reenactment group, to being employed with both The Black Raven Pirate Ship and the Old Florida Museum in St. Augustine. He used these experiences along with plenty of research to co-create authentic historical fiction. He also enjoys traveling, spending time with his family and seeking new adventures.

A confessed bibliophile, Becca was reading fantasy and sci-fi novels from a young age. This love of reading grew into a love of writing and, with her father, paved the way to their first co- authored novel and onward through the Saga. She also enjoys gaming, gardening, cooking , and cross-stitch. She lives in Florida with her daughter and a small menagerie of animals.
