adventures

This year is proving to be an exciting expansion year for B.B. LeClere. The start of the year saw the debut of The Secret War of 1834 in Audiobook format, quickly followed by the release of the second book in the trilogy, The Tainted Arrow. Lessons learned from our earlier audiobook release allowed us to offer The Tainted Arrow in Audiobook format much quicker. Creatively, we expanded into the boardgame arena with Zombies v Steampunk - THE GAME. Learning the production process of games was challenging, exciting and very rewarding.

With The Bleeding Quill LLC evolving and growing with new and varied products on offer, we continue to have much success at conventions. Additional adventure is on the horizon as we journey into game conventions and author conferences, as well as expedition for future book locales and local history research planned to Boston, Mackinaw Island and Baton Rouge (including a boat trip up the mighty Mississippi River)!

2025 promises to end on a high note with the inaugural Cajun Con, taking us further afield into new territory physically and more on-line platforms. We have also very excited to enter the BookFest Contest for additional exposure and recognition. The Author Nation 2025 in Las Vegas promises to be a rich resource and opportunity to further our 2026 goal of developing more marketing and distribution strategies once the final book of the trilogy is released.

An excellent end for 2025 and strong start to 2026. We look forward to the adventure and challenges ahead!!

About the Authors

Bill spent most of his life reenacting in some fashion. Starting in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), to captaining his own Pirate Reenactment group, to being employed with both The Black Raven Pirate Ship and the Old Florida Museum in St. Augustine. He used these experiences along with plenty of research to co-create authentic historical fiction. He also enjoys traveling, spending time with his family and seeking new adventures.
